Uzbekistan took the 70th position in the rating of countries in terms of the level of cybersecurity of the Global Cybersecurity Index. The country's index was 71.11 points out of the maximum 100 points.
The index combines 82 questions in five main areas, each of which is awarded 20 points:
• legal measures;
• technical measures;
• organizational measures;
• measures for capacity development;
• cooperation measures.
Uzbekistan received the most points in the segment of legal measures - 19.27 points, the least for organizational measures - 10.05 points.
Technical measures received 12.56 points, capacity development measures 15.68 and cooperation measures 13.56 points.
In terms of cybersecurity among the countries of Central Asia, Uzbekistan is second only to Kazakhstan (31st place). Kyrgyzstan took 92nd place, Tajikistan - 138th place, Turkmenistan - 144th place.
The United States (100 points), Great Britain and Saudi Arabia (99.54 points each), Estonia (99.48 points) and South Korea (98.52 points) topped the rating. North Korea closes the rating (1.35 points).
